Mzuzu University department of ICT invites suitably qualified individuals to work as tutors/facilitators in various short course programmes in ODeL center. This is a temporary (part-time) position and involvement is on a per need basis. The facilitator or tutor will collaborate and liase with the lead facilitator based at the main campus. Expert knowledge in any of the following is required: Photography & Videography, Graphics Design, Advanced Ms Excel, Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Mobile data collection (ODK, Kobo, Toolbox), Data visualization.

The courses will be taught and learnt at all Mzuzu University Satellite centers. Mzuzu University has satellite centers in Karonga, Lilongwe, Balaka and Mulanje districts. The interested applicants must be based in these respective districts

Duration

Classes begin on the 8th Of November 2021 and will progress for 1 month

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach and assess courses
• To develop and teach new courses, as may be required.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required and assigned by the coordinator

Qualifications

Candidates Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study obtained from a reputable and accredited institution of higher learning.

Those with relevant experience shall have added advantage. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
