Selected Students for A Professional Certificate in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

With support from the Skills for a Vibrant Economy (SAVE) Project under the World Bank and the Government of Malawi, Mzuzu University (MZUNI), through the Department of ICT under the Faculty of Science, Technology and Innovation, has selected students to pursue a Professional Certificate in ICT.

The program will be delivered through Blended Mode (Online and Face-to-face). Apart from the MZUNI main campus, face-to-face delivery will also occur in Karonga, Lilongwe, Balaka, and Mulanje ODEL centres. The selected students have been accepted into the certificate at Level 1(Beginners), which will run for four months. Fees for beginners are K200,000.00.

Orientation And Classes

The first face-to-face orientation occurred in the centres on the weekend of
27th and 28th January 2024. There will be an online orientation on Thursday, 1st February, and Monday, 4th February 2024, in the evening. Targeted are only those who missed the initial physical orientation.

Once paid, send a scanned copy of your fee deposit slip to ict@mzuni.ac.mw.


Online learning will start immediately on the Moodle Learning platform for those who have settled at least 50% of their fees and registered.
Physical (face-to-face) learning in the centres will take place once per
fortnight (on Saturdays and Sundays), and the next weekend for classes is
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th February 2024.
